Hot Fudge Sundae Cake is easy to make cake is delicious and gooey.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder divided
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 3/4 cup hot water

Method: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In an 8 x 8 glass baking dish mix together flour, ¼ cup cocoa powder, granulated sugar, and baking powder. Mix in milk, butter, and vanilla extract until a thick batter forms. Stir in chocolate chips and spread the batter evenly in the baking dish. Combine the remaining ¼ cup of cocoa powder and brown sugar, then sprinkle over the batter.
Pour hot water over the top of all ingredients. Bake for 40 minutes or until the cake has formed a dry top and a bubbly, pudding-like bottom. Remove from oven. Serve warm cake with ice cream if desired. Top with whipped cream and a cherry!
